Letters of Recommendation
You may need a letter of recommendation from a teacher, coach, employer, counselor, etc. for various reasons. For CommonApp, you will want to choose your School College Advisor. If you attend Key West High School, that is Lydia.Estenoz@keysschools.com. This is because she must upload a school profile letter for each student who applies to school that way.
Now, you may also have an opportunity to input another recommender, but she must always be the primary or your application may not be submitted. Be sure to ask her about that requirement.
For other applications like universities and scholarships, you can submitletters in some cases from other people. Be prepared to give your recommender enough time (2 weeks at least) and enough information about you (a brag sheet or resume).

Some students choose to use a resume instead of a brag sheet. Both are great, but you usually don't need to do both, just one or the other.
